Celeste Borman received all of her training at Charlotte Ballet Academy where she trained with renowned faculty. She additionally spent four seasons in their Pre-Professional division, 2 of those years spent as an apprentice. During this part of her training, she toured with Charlotte Ballet and danced works by Balanchine, Bonnefoux, Chu, Diamond, Berdo, and Martinez.  Borman also attended summer intensives at the Chautauqua Institution, San Francisco Ballet, The Washington Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Nashville Ballet. 

Upon joining Nashville Ballet’s official second company, NB2, in 2019, Borman performed with the main company in productions of Nashville’s Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet, worked with Artistic Director and CEO Nick Mullikin on his original work He Loved Big Brother, and took part in Nashville Ballet’s Community Engagement programming. 

Subsequently, Borman was invited to join Nashville Ballet as an apprentice in 2021 and was promoted to full company member in 2022. Since joining the main company Borman has performed works by Mullikin, Vasterling, Bradley, Balanchine, Peck, Kylian, Tharp, Neenan, and Caniparoli among others.
